Today, it's time to chat about .... moths.

You know, those incredibly annoying flying critters that waft to and fro and drive you stark raving bonkers because you *know* the songs of love and adoration are upon them....

... meaning they'll be pro-creating faster than lightning can strike that brand new shiny sleek Lambo your typical marketing guru just simply *adores* to rent.  

Which brings us to our story.....

See, it was a dark and stormy night, and it was time to cook dinner.  Okay, "cook" might have been a wee bit of an overstatement, as the husband had already mentioned he had a craving for ramen noodles, but hey.  Artistic license!  :)

Now, noodles are easy to prepare, even if you have trouble boiling water without burning it.  And you can get all sorts of superDuper creative with the seasonings by simply:

🍕  Looking into your fridge

🥗  Determining what sorts of veggies are left over (in our case, we had some romaine lettuce)

🍧  Adding the miracles of "close your eyes, pick out random spices, and chuck 'em all into the pot" and voila!

Dinner is served!  

Well, dinner *would* have been served, if both the husband and I had not noticed....

<insert ominous music tone> That Moth.

That Blasted Moth who, unlike Mothra, was NOT cute and cuddly, did NOT help Godzilla power up into Nuclear Godzilla back in the 2019 movie "Godzilla, King of the Monsters" which btw featured the *original* soundtrack of Godzilla getting ready to open up a container of violently agitated motions against a posterior and OMG was one of the BEST monster movies and ...

Ahem, let me steer that train back onto the correct track, might I?  🚉

So.  Where was I?  Ah yes!  That Blasted.... MOTH!

No, nix that, THOSE blasted MOTHS (notice the plural).

So annoying.  So aggravating!  But luckily, the husband (as the best of spouses always do) had a dramatically effective solution.

You know those electrified thingees that are shaped like tennis racquets that let you literally zap any flying bug?

OMG - they are SO effective!   And thus began the fun (it really was) of me pointing out where a buggie was flying, and the husband leaping around the kitchen, ⚡ zapping them as quickly as possible. ⚡

Yes, Lings are quite easily amused, see.   :)   

And the best part of this?   Well, earlier, I was looking thru Amazon for SttAoIB (Solutions to the Annoyance of Icky Bugs) as I am hugely allergic to mosquito stings ('allergic' as in I'll end up scratching off the skin around it).

This was before the husband let me know that he already HAD that gloriously wonderful magnificent RoBDtDStbZB (Racquet of Blazing Delight to Displeasing Soon to be Zapped Bugs).

I didn't have to re-invent the wheel!  It was *already* there, just waiting to be wielded like the Sword of Excalibur (which, no, is NOT the way one chooses a class of government)!

I like things already done for me, don't you?

And one of the BEST things that's already done for you is... <insert fanfare of trumpets> 🎺 Public Domain content 🎺.

But what IS public domain content?

Public domain content is quite simply content (text, images, videos, sounds, small furry animals, etc) that are not protected by intellectual property laws such as copyright, trademark, or patent laws.

And now that we have all that boring legal mumbo jumbo stuff out of the way, here's the super neato coolio part!!!!
