Hey there, Barb Ling from the DennisAndBarb Coaching goodness and brief, pithy and to the point:
Ever feel like you’re trapped in an endless content hamster wheel?
So, here’s the scoop. My alter-ego, Michael (I'll explain about him below), has been right there too - staring at a blank screen blanker than
a deer's mind when it sees a car's headlights, wondering how he’d crank out enough posts, blogs, and tweets to keep the world not just fed... but satisfied.
And y'know... the world expects a huuuuuge amount of content from you.
After all, there's between 10-15 Meeyon eMail Advertisers out there. How on earth can you stand out
with: social posts, blogs 'n tweets, LinkedIn musings 'n videos, oh my! And who’s got time for all that?
(Side Note: Now that I'm on LinkedIn, I feel that agony in my soul. But I digress...)
Now, here’s where things get weirdly interesting.
Michael used to spend minutes, hours, days etc, whipping up
engaging social posts and infotainment blog articles. No exaggeration—half his day, POOF, gone.
(NOTE: Don’t even get me started on video creation years back ... a 6-hour marathon for 2 minutes of decent footage? More painful than participating in a ghost pepper eating contest!)
