Hey there, Barb Ling from the DennisAndBarb Coaching goodness and here's a nifty question for you.
When you were in school, did you ever take
Math? I did... 'matter of fact, I majored in College in it. But here's the kicker about that...
I was lousy at it. Truly! I think the only reason why I was passed my senior year because that was the opportunity for my department to get rid of me. But watch out! Here comes another kicker speeding in...
I loved the subject. I really did! Granted, I couldn't Math my way out
of a wet paper bag but... I just... loved Math.
I remember during my last final in Complex Variables - I:
* Attended all office hours
* Attended other professors' office hours
* Did all the review questions in the Text book. Cracked open another text-book and did those!
And the A that I received...
... happened only in my dreams. An A I did not receive. Nor a B. The C said, C you out there! The D? Was
Dddddeeeeep sea diving.
Oh, but the F! It landed high and dry on my report card.
I literally could NOT comprehend Complex Variables. Now, that experience, in all honesty, was a fantastic Hero's Journey indeed, because I learned early in my life that you can love and adore and do your best and storm the gates of heck but if your brain is NOT wired to understand Complex Variables... well, you won't.
Another excellent byproduct
of this experience was: I beat out the compsci majors at AT&T when I interviewed there - I was told that learning how to think was 'way more important than learning rote facts and templates and all that jazz.
(and when you add to that that I met my husband at Bell Labs (after I had relocated there), and that we've had over 30+ years of marriage, well...
Being lousy at Math certainly did NOT detract from my overall career and life.
Now, what does this have
to do with IM and growing revenue online?
So glad you asked! See, you might have been trying to earn a living online for awhile. A month, a year, 5 years, you paid off your Model T fiance bill online years, etc.etc.etc. And you have yet to see success.
Allow me to suggest... could that be because you haven't tried different approaches? One can beef up their bottom line a huuuuge number of ways! So if, say, Dropshipping didn't work,
and Product Creation didn't work, and Print on Demand didn't work, and Kindle writing didn't work, and designing websites didn't work, and other thingees didn't work...
There IS still one more idea to consider.
But before I get into that, here's another question for you... wouldn't it be superCoolioNeato if you tried this option and already had one critical requirement ... at your fingertips?
See, to grow revenue, one needs a few key thingees. You need to
have:
* A source of traffic. Lots of folks are using social resources like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and such for that (even their own blogs).
* A buy button. The only way moooola is made online is by having something another person is willing to spend mooola for. Product creation can take care of that easily but what if that was one of the methods you already tried?
* A compelling sales
page. But what if copywriting is something that simply leaves you colder than 28 icebergs?
Enter affiliate marketing!
See, affiliate marketing is really grand (it really is!) because you do NOT have to master copywriting, you do NOT have to create products...
You simply have to point people in the direction of products via sharing your affiliate link online.
That's one reason why this latest edition of Jim Daniels'
Affiliate Marketing Master Swipe file is such a grand thing to check out! Jim has been a true master of landing on the top of affiliate JV leaderboards year after year after year after .... year after year after year after (you get the idea).
