^^Consequences of JOY?

Hey there, Barb Ling from the DennisAndBarb Coaching goodness and brief, pithy and to the point: I will admit.

Yes, I did it.

The only explanation I have is ... I'm returning to my roots. And it's like, I cannot stop it but even more weirdly:

I have zero desire TO stop it.

So there I was, looking at my sales page and realizing, alrighty now, I've received several superCoolio testimonials... I really should add them to that page!

Easy enough, normal people would think. Just use one of the many testimonial formatting thingees that sales page platforms offer.

Thing is, I code by hand. So I don't have that option!

To make a looooong story short (very short):

I spent about 2 hours with ChatGPT to make the testimonials look exactly the way I wanted them too.

And y'know, those 2 hours should have been spent doing other money-making tasks. I mean, c'mon. Hand-tweaking the css of your own sales page?

Madness! Well, madness until you end up with something like... this!

When you visit that page, you'll see the gradient line does something... unexpected. 🙂

It was a consequence of me spending so.much.time.

I knew that it would take me That.Long to get the animations right, the look/feel right...

But I did it anywhos. Because that kinda stuff gives me joy. And without joy, doing the work can become most blah-like instead.

But that's just me. Now, let's bring this back to the most important person reading it.... you!

What gives you joy? Probably not spending hours making images that make gives you that marketing edge, right?
